Family Displaced Following House Fire On Narrows Court
Sun. May 15th 2016

On Sunday, May 15, 2016, at approximately 1715 hours, units from Bowie and the surrounding area were alerted to respond to a report of a house on fire in the 3400 block of Narrows Court, in company 816's primary response area. Engine 816 arrived on scene to find a 2-story, single-family house with fire showing from the front. Units on the call included Engines 816, 843, 819, and 818, Tower 839, Truck 828, and Anne Arundel Tower 5. Additional units on the scene included Truck 838, Engine 820, Paramedic Ambulance 816, and Paramedic Ambulance 823. Chief 819 (covering as Battalion Chief 882) was the incident commander, Chief 818 had Division 2 command, and Chief 839B (Darbro) had Division 1 command. No injuries were reported by firefighters or residents. Unfortunately, 2 adults and 4 children were displaced.
