At approximately 0130 on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, units from Bowie, West Lanham Hills, and Glenn Dale were alerted for the vehicle rollover with one trapped at the intersection of Good Luck Road and Goddard Drive. Rescue Squad 18 (Glenn Dale) was first to arrive on scene and confirmed one overturned vehicle on its roof with one person trapped. Engine 819 (Bowie/Old Town) was second to arrive and assisted RS 18 with patient extrication. Once the trapped person was removed from the vehicle they were handed over to Ambulance 489 (West Lanham Hills). The incident was under the command of Battalion Chief 802 (Howard), and EMS 801 also responded.
