The recent back-to-back blizzards kept the Bowie VFD very busy. Our personell carried loaded stretchers long distances through deep snow, responded to car fires, and provided mutual aid to our colleagues in Anne Arundel County. Crews braved poor road conditions, blowing snow, and brutal cold to assist the people of Bowie. Fortunately, our mission was accomplished without serious injury to our first responders or damage to our apparatus.
