The Bowie Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad mourns the death of Chief Anthony (Tony) Elwood Beall, Sr. Tony dedicated many years to the department, rising through the ranks to serve as Deputy Chief for 11 years. He was known for his love of family, dedication to service, and humor; and for being a mentor and teacher to many. He wasn't in it for the glory, but to give what he could to the community and make sure his crew returned safely from every call.

May he be greeted by his beloved bride, Joyce, and may they together rest in peace.
