We conduct two major fund-raising events, a door-to-door Photo Fund Drive in the spring and a Mail Fund Drive in the fall. Passing of Life Member George Amyx

BowieVFD regrets to announce the passing of Life Member George Amyx. George, having joined the department in 1965, provided over 58 years of service. George was a friend and mentor to all, and his frequent fire house presence was noticed and appreciated by members young and old. He will be truly missed.

Arrangements are as follows:
Visitation: Friday, January 26, 2024, 10:00am - 11:45am at Lee Funeral Home (6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton)

Funeral: Friday, January 26, 2024, 12:00pm at Lee Funeral Home
Funeral procession from Lee Funeral Home to Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis) immediately following the funeral for the graveside service and burial.
